It all started with a simple yet profound question: What if a headphone could sound like a studio monitor but feel like a treasured heirloom? We recognized a gap between the cold perfection of technology and the warm, personal affinity each of us has with music in a world where audio is made in large quantities—the desire to fill such a vacuum led to the creation of Aura.

The process began with a technical obsession: developing a driver that could disappear, leaving only the music. We collaborated with top material technologists in Japan to build our own 1-micron TPU diaphragm, which is both exceptionally light and incredibly strong. To make this breakthrough the best it could be, we collaborated with Sony's renowned audio division. Their knowledge helped us improve our symmetrical driver to a level of transparency and accuracy that is world-class.

However, we realized that technology that works perfectly but lacks a soul is just a tool. We focused on the personal touch in our American workshop. Our master craftsmen put each pair together by hand, ensuring it will last a lifetime instead of becoming obsolete. This is our promise to make things last.
